Building A Strong Foundation

TEARS, Inc. was founded in 1996 by Mrs. Angelia C. Walton. She built the platform of TEARS through HIV/AIDS education to local churches and schools. In September of 1997 the organization received 501(c) (3)non-profit status.

Over the past few years, we have had the privilege of working with young people of all kinds of backgrounds. We, along with our volunteers, have seen first hand just how much one encouraging word or deed can truly affect the lives of others in a positive and powerful way. This has always been the driving force behind our phenomenal growth and continued support from our board members, donors, and volunteers.
